Lester Joseph Jugenheimer, 79 of Rogers, Ark., passed away peacefully May 30, 2014, at his residence in Rogers. He was born Aug. 24, 1934, in Kiel, Wis., to Lester Jugenheimer and Marie Beumler Jugenheimer. He served our nation in the U.S. Air Force, and after his discharge, was employed by the federal government as an air traffic controller. He was preceded in death by his parents. Lester is survived by his wife of 54 years, Therese Polacek Jugenheimer; one son, Rev. James R. Jugenheimer of Oshkosh, Wis.; two daughters, Carmen Butus of South Bend, Indiana, Paula Jugenheimer of Fayetteville, Ark., one sister, Dorothy Muhs, of New Holstein, Wis., and three grandchildren, Cassandra, Laura, and Jillian Butus. The visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, June 2, 2014, with the Rosary at 6:30 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers with the Rev. James R. Jugenheimer officiating. He will be laid to rest in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Kiel, Wis. Memorials may be made in honor of Lester Jugenheimer to the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1305 West Cypress, Rogers, Arkansas 72758 Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers.
