Marion Cornell

Marion E."Mike" Cornell, age 78, of Fayetteville passed away July 25, 2014. Mike was born Oct. 26, 1935, in Seneca, Kan., to parents Walter F. Cornell and Dora Grose. Mike enjoyed his family and sports, especially football and baseball. He was an avid Razorback and Atlanta Braves fan. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Heather Cornell; and one brother, Rusty Cornell. He is survived by his wife, Karen of Fayetteville; one daughter, Kristin Cornell of Fayetteville; two sisters, June Wilson and Darlene Spaugh of Warsaw, Mo.; sister-in-law, Kay Cornell of Lucedale, Miss.; and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers.
