Charlie Newman Hall

Charlie Newman Hall, 78, of Rogers died July 26, 2014, at his home surrounded by family who loved him. He was born May 24, 1936, in Tuscaloosa, Ala., the son of Mary Hall-Spicer and Walter Hall. Charlie was an active member of Eastside Assembly of God in Bentonville, Ark. He was retired from Emersons Electric and Bentonville High School. Charlie was a resident of Gordo, Ala., before moving to Rogers in 1974. He was married to the love of his life for nearly 25 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and going fishing. Charlie will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers. Charlie is survived by his wife, Laquita Hall of Rogers, Ark.; one son, Newman Hall and his wife Mickie of Gordo, Ala.; two daughters, Nina Parker and her husband Bobby of Gordo, Ala., Lisa Hall and her husband Norman of Gordo, Ala.; one stepson, Tom McGahan and his wife Gina of Hershey, Neb.; two stepdaughters, Donna Streeter and her husband Todd, of Hershey, Neb., Dee Wynne of Springdale; three sisters, Mary Ruth Elmore of Gordo, Ala., Ruby Nell McBride of Northport, Ala., Pauline Holifield of Coker, Ala.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
