Alice Lucille Johnson

Alice Lucille Johnson, 84, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at Concordia Care Center in Bella Vista. She was born on March 9, 1930, in Chicago, Ill., to Gustav Backstrom and Ingaborg Johnson Backstrom. She was raised and educated in Chicago. She moved to Bella Vista in 1991. She was a member of the United Lutheran Church and was very active within the church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert A. Johnson Jr.; one brother; and two sisters. She is survived by three sons, Curt Johnson (Elaine) of Overland Park, Kan., Dave Johnson (Wendi) of Rapid City, S.D., Steve Johnson (Linda) of Menomonee Falls, Wis.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.
