Paula Jo Stewart

Paula Jo Stewart, 68, of Charleston, passed from this life July 12, 2014 in Charleston. She was born February 26, 1946, to the late Clayton and Rowena Pike Law, in Ratcliff, Arkansas. She retired from Sparks Hospital as a Home Health Aide. Paula Jo loved to fish, when the fish were biting, and when they weren't biting, she was reading. Paula Jo is survived by her husband, Billy M. Stewart, Sr.; her son, Billy M. Stewart Jr. and his wife Martha of Fort Smith; a brother, John W. Law of Ratcliff, Arkansas and an aunt, Grace Law of Van Buren; her brother-in-law, Jerry Colyar of Ratcliff, Arkansas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Lynn Colyar. A memorial service will be 1 pm Saturday, July 26, 2014 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, 201 North 12th Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Those who will serve as Honor Guard will be Tonya McCoy, Sandra Wilson and Misty Hawkins, librarians from the Charleston Public Library; Nancy Smith, a librarian from the Ozark Public Library; her brother and sister in heart, Rufus Roger and Claudia Lee Stewart; a new brother in heart, James Reams and her Peachtree Hospice caregiver, Jamie Woods.
