Charl Marie Stepp Lynch

Charl Marie Stepp Lynch, 91, of Elkins left her earthly body on July 17, 2014, to join Vayle in the presence of Jesus. She was born Dec. 3, 1922, to Cora Stepp Clark and Redmond Clark. She was married to Vayle on April 22, 1944. They spent 68 years together working on their farms, hunting, fishing and enjoying the outdoors. In addition to being an avid fisherwoman and hunter, she loved quilting, gardening and working with her flowers. She was an excellent cook and her dishes were always sought at church dinners. She is survived by four children, Vonnon Sisemore and wife, Pat, of Fayetteville, Doyle Lynch and wife, Beth, of West Plains, Mo., Bonnie Baker and husband, Don, of Fayetteville, and Bobby Lynch of Durham; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Beard's Chapel, with Dr. T.O. Spicer Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in McCord Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel. There is no scheduled visitation. Condolences at www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.
