Marguerite Ayleen Ambrose

Marguerite Ayleen Ambrose, 94, of Fort Smith, Ark. died Friday, July 18, 2014, in Springdale. She was born Dec. 29, 191,9 in Fort Smith, Ark., to Fred Carl Shopfner and Edith Moody Shopfner. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband John Wesley Ambrose. Ayleen is survived by one brother, Dr. Charles Shopfner and wife, Pearl of Grand Junction, Colo.; two sisters, Myrah Caton and husband, Lytle, of Lowell, Ark., Dale Smith of Siloam Springs, Ark., and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers with the Rev. Rodney Fry officiating. Interment will be at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., with the Rev. Steve Wingo officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time.
