Irene Rosemary Schlentz

Irene Schlentz, 94, of Rogers died July 14, 2014. She was born in Chicago, Ill., on Jan. 18, 1920. She was an executive secretary in Chicago for many years. After retiring to Northwest Arkansas, she was active in local clubs and Republican politics. Survivors include son, Adam; longtime caregiver, Joanie; a brother; and her dog, Baby. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and her husband, Harold. Services will be private. Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
