Cindy Lee Ponder

Cindy Lee Ponder, 48, of Springdale died Friday, July 11, 2014, at her home. She was born Aug. 19, 1965, in Greenville, Ohio, the daughter of Carolyn and Lee Roy Reck. Cindy was a devoted wife and mother. Cindy enjoyed music, teaching in Springdale, and being around people. She loved her students and family. Cindy is survived by her husband of 28 years, Stephen Ponder; her son, Brad Ponder of Springdale, and daughter, Amie Ponder of Springdale; mother, Carolyn Reck; her father, Lee Roy Reck; one brother, Mark Reck; three sisters, Roxanna Myrick and her husband Dennis of Hutchinson, Kan., Gail Sullivan of Loveland, Ohio, Dawn Mueller and her husband Don of Loveland, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews, and many loving friends and family. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 15 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at New Hope Assembly of God Rogers. Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 16 at 10 a.m. at New Hope Assembly of God Rogers.
