William 'Bill' Shafer

William "Bill" Shafer, 68, of Winslow died on July 4, 2014. He was born March 25, 1946, in Gallatin, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters. Survivors include his wife, Chan Shafer; daughter, Michelle; son, Troy Shafer; four grandkids; two great-grandkids; brother-in-law, Don Sanders; and sister-in-law, Rena Shafer. The family will receive friends Friday, July 11, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held Saturday at Beard's Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m., with John Shafer officiating.
