Mark Ozier

David Mark Ozier, of Springdale, passed away on Sunday, July 6 at UAMS in Little Rock. Mark is survived by his wife, Lisa, his two children, Olivia and Ben, all of the home, his parents David and Glenda Ozier of Jonesboro, and many friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lon and Mattie Ozier of Piggott, Charles and Zita Wilson of Brownsville, Tennessee, and twin sisters, Kathy and Karen. Mark was born on February 4, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee. He graduated from Jonesboro High School and the University of Arkansas where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Mark was a financial planner in the Wal-Mart corporate office in Bentonville, Arkansas. Mark was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Springdale. He was devoted to his family and dedicated to his career. Mark was known for his love of the outdoors, strength, courage, loyalty and positive attitude. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 11 at First Baptist Church in Jonesboro at 6:30 p.m., Emil Williams officiating. Visitation will precede the service from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the church. Under the direction of Hoggard Funeral Home, there will be a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. in the Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas with Arliss Dickerson officiating.
