Carol Lavon Talley

Carol Lavon Talley, age 74, of Winslow died Monday, July 7, 2014, at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born Jan. 3, 1940, in Winslow, Ark., the daughter of Elmer and Mable Smith Griffith. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Talley; and five brothers and sisters. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Donald "Pee Wee" Talley; a son, Roger Talley and wife, Ann, of Winslow; two daughters, Myra Collins and husband, John, of West Fork, and Tonya Morris and husband, Marvin, of Jane, Mo.; two brothers; and two sisters; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Unity Covenant Church in West Fork, followed by burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Winslow, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
