Gary Lynn Peters

Gary Lynn Peters, 69, of Bentonville, Ark., went home to be with the Lord July 6, 2014, at The Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Ark., after a brief illness. He was born on Feb. 4, 1945, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Stanley and Emily Peters. He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Emily Peters and Ruby Peters, and a sister Karen Henry. Survivors include two sons, Rex Peters of Bentonville, Ark., and Ryan Peters of Gladstone, Mo.; and a sister Pam Wilson of Loudon, Tenn.; three grandchildren; two nephews; and two nieces; and a mother of his two sons. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, followed by the service at 1 p.m. at West Oaks Funeral Home, 500 S. Hillcrest St., Sulphur Springs, TX 75482 with Rev. Larry Jordon and Rev. Rob Matney. Interment will follow at the Mahoney Cemetery in Mahoney, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. July 12, 2014, at Western Hills Baptist Church 1101 S.W. Second St., Bentonville, AR. In lieu of flowers please make donation to the Gary Peters memorial fund to the Bentonville Youth Baseball, P.O. Box 94, Bentonville, AR 72712.
