Dorotha Jean Culver

Dorotha Jean Culver, 90, of Gravette, Ark., passed away Friday, July 4, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Ark. She was born Oct. 25, 1923, in Benton Harbor, Mich., to Charles and Jewyl Pulliam. Dorotha was a homemaker after having worked at Bear Brand Hosiery and the Bentonville School System. She was a devoted daughter, wife, sister, and mother to her precious family. Dorotha was preceded in death by her first husband, Leo Joseph Ley; parents; husband, Ralph E. Culver Jr.; brothers, Charles and Gerald Pulliam; and sisters, Virginia Gout and Bonnie Childers. Dorotha is survived by her precious children including daughters, Colette Williamson (Robert), Martha Robinson, Heidi Beth Bailey (Stephen), and sons, Kevin Ley (Amy), Charles Ley (Tipaya), Scott Culver (Donna), and stepson, Ralph Culver (Lynn); brother, Robert Pulliam (Vertie); sister-in-law, Delia Pulliam; brother-in-law, Neal Childers; and grandchildren, Laura and Sarah Williamson, Andrea Robinson, Sandra Gray, Jason and Justin Ley, Tiffany Taylor, Sean Ley, Amanda and Zachary Bailey, and Kyle Culver; and great-grandchildren, Addison and Landon Ley. Arrangements are entrusted to Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home in Rogers, Ark. Dorotha's family wishes to express their deepest thanks and appreciation to the entire staff and volunteers of Circle of Life Hospice for their compassionate, respectful, and exceptionally loving care of their cherished Mother.
