Donald E. Rowe, 80, of Bella Vista, Ark., passed away peacefully on June 26, 2014, at Circle of Life Legacy. He was born on Feb. 14, 1934, to Claude and Dorothy Rowe in Wisconsin Dells, Wis. In 1938, the family moved to Montello, Wis., where he graduated from Montello High School in 1952. He married Donna Elaine Morrical on June 27, 1959. They moved to Wausau, Wis., where they raised their four children. In 1986, they moved to Springdale, Ark., and to Bella Vista, Ark., in 1994. He served in the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1957 as an electronics specialist. He subsequently worked for the Federal Aviation Administration from 1959 until he retired in 1989. Post retirement, he worked for Raytheon Corp as a field construction engineer from 1990-2000. He was an active member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista, Ark. He was a longtime member of the Elks & Moose Clubs. He enjoyed bowling and golfing. His profound impact on the lives of others was evidenced by the outpouring of love and support of family and friends throughout this journey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude W. Rowe and Dorothy May Rowe of Bradenton, Fla.; infant twins, Clark John and Mary Alice; and a brother, Claude Jay Rowe of Montello, Wis. He leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Donna Elaine; two sons, Gregory Rowe (Marilyn Wolff) of St. Paul, Minn., and Brad Rowe (Shelley) of Mosinee, Wis.; two daughters, Vicki Hill (Steve) of Madison, Wis., and Cindy Campbell (Scott) of Cudahy, Wis.; one sister, Mary Swed of Princeton, Wis.; seven grandchildren; one great-child; numerous additional family members and countless friends in Wisconsin, Florida and Arkansas. A Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Interment will be at St. Bernard's Columbarium immediately following the mass.
