Julie Nicole Dickerson Petree, 30, of Rogers, Ark., died Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Willow Creek Woman's Hospital in Johnson. She was born March 7, 1984, in Springdale, Ark., the daughter of Teri L. Lawson and Mark E. Dickerson. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family, especially her daughter Wren. She collected antiques. She enjoyed growing her plants at home. Also she had two dogs that she loved dearly. She loved floating, hiking, rock climbing, camping, and arts and crafts. She attended the Rogers Schools. She participated in Drill Team and Band at Elmwood Junior High, and participated in Drama at the Rogers High School. She graduated with Honors at Rogers High School, Class of 2002. She then attended one year at Pittsburg State University located in Pittsburg, Kan., and was an Alpha Sigma Alpha. She graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design. She was a member of the Fayetteville Business and Professional Women. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Lt. Col. Aaron E. Dickerson, USAF Retired. Julie is survived by her husband, Tony Petree; two daughters, Wren Petree and her newborn daughter, Emery Petree, both of Rogers; her mother, Teri Lawson, of Estes Park, Colo.; her father, Mark Dickerson, of Rogers; one sister, Sarah Kathleen Dickerson, of Fayetteville; one brother, Christopher Dickerson and his wife Jennifer, of Bentonville; paternal grandmother, Kathleen Dickerson, of Rogers; maternal grandmother, Hazel Strebel and her husband Kurt, of War Eagle; her mother and father-in-law, Richard and Susan Petree; her sister-in-law, Shannon Tweedy and her husband Dustin, of Bella Vista; one niece, Ashlynn Tweedy, of Bella Vista; one aunt; three uncles; numerous cousins; and she leaves a host of friends. A celebration of her life will be Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church located in Historic Downtown Rogers with Rev. David Bentley and Rev. Sandra Wanasek officiating.
