Jerry Paul Davidson

Jerry Paul Davidson, age 58, of Pea Ridge died Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, surrounded by his loving family at his home after a lengthy illness. Jerry was born Feb. 18, 1955, and was raised in Greenville, Miss. He graduated in 1973 from Greenville High and moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1998, the last employed by Evans Electric. Jerry will be remembered as a devoted father who spent time coaching his children's softball teams; and as a loving grandfather, teaching his grandchildren to shoot BB guns. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved bulldog, Maggie, and riding horses and his motorcycle. He is preceded in death by his father, Ottis Odell Davidson of Greenville, Miss. He is survived by his mother, Rose Davidson of Greenville, Miss.; son, Troy Davidson (Breann), Pea Ridge; daughter, Taffy Davidson Hale (Craig), Bentonville; brother, Larry Davidson (Patsy), Hendersonville, Tenn.; sister, Joy Oswalt (James), Greenville, Miss.; sister, Clara Coleman, Vicksburg, Miss.; and six grandchildren. His family would like to thank Dr. Patrick Travis and the staffs at Highland Oncology, Hope Cancer Resources, Mercy Hospital and Hospice for their compassion and support during his battle against cancer. A visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hope Cancer Resources, 5835 W.
