Ruth Solomon, 88, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, in Fayetteville. She was born Feb. 23, 1925, in Washington, D.C., to Leon and Rose Ullman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burton Solomon. She was the mother of two daughters, Linda Gaddy of Fayetteville, Ark., Karen Miller of Paradise Valley, Ariz.; and three grandchildren, Theodore Kronmiller of Chicago, Ill., and Lauren Solomon and Chelsea Gaddy, both of Seattle, Wash. Ruth was the consummate homemaker, expert chef and artist. Never one to worry over details, her extraordinary creative bent colored her stories that were alight with imagination. Ruth exuded an aura of lightness at all times, her easy disposition contagious. Ruth's grace and kindness of spirit will be missed by all. A visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Private burial will be held at Arlington National Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Katherine's Place for the care they have shown Mrs. Solomon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of the Ozarks, 1020 S.
