Allen Lee Grubbs

Allen Lee Grubbs, age 39, of Elkins, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Jan. 14, 2014, at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born Oct. 8, 1974, in Fayetteville, Ark., the son of Robert and Connie Wiley Grubbs. He was a member of Sulphur City Baptist Church and owner of Burton Cemetery Service. Allen enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, doing woodworking, hunting mushrooms and playing video games with his son. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Traxler Grubbs of the home; one son, Caleb Grubbs of the home; his parents of Elkins; his mother-in-law and father, Brenda Terry and Mark of Hindsville; his father-in-law, Norman Traxler; two brothers, Matthew Grubbs and Arron Grubbs, both of Elkins; grandparents, Jim and Geraldine Burton of Springdale; and three nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Dallas Auslam and Pastor Spanky Goett officiating, with burial to follow at Mount Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Arron Grubbs, Matthew Grubbs, Mark Terry, Cody Grubbs, Tim Traxler and Mitchell Traxler.
