Imogene Franklin, 88, of Fort Smith, Ark., formerly of Van Buren went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, in Fort Smith. She was the retired co-owner of W.B. Smith Store in Van Buren, a former employee of Ocker Monument Company and Ocker Funeral Home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Van Buren and the Lydia Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband C.J. Franklin in July of 1985. She is survived by two daughters, Carol Henson of Rogers, Ark., and Janie Garner and her husband Kerry of Van Buren; one grandson Rusty Menke and his wife Amy of Rogers, Ark.; one stepgranddaughter, Tracy Garner of Little Rock, Ark.; three great-grandchildren, Rodney, Colby and Abery Menke, all of Rogers. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial in Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren. The Family will visit with friends Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
