Nadine Martha Findahl

Nadine Martha Findahl, 87, a resident of West Fork, passed away Jan. 8, 2014, at her home. She was born April 28, 1926, in Walnut Grove, Minn., the daughter of Ralph and Mildred Miller Wick. Nadine graduated from LeCenter Minnesota High School in 1944. She attended Business College in Mankato, Minn., before working for the gas company in LeCenter and later attended cosmetology school in Mankato. She then returned to LeCenter to own and operate her own beauty shop. She married Norman Findahl in 1956 and moved to Hogeye, Ark., where she became a homemaker. Nadine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norman T. Findahl Jr.; and one brother, Wayne Wick. She is survived by two sons, Norman Findahl and wife, Anna, and Mark Findahl and wife, Renee, all of West Fork, Ark.; one daughter, LeAnn McKee and husband, Dewain, of Fayetteville, Ark.; three brothers, Edward Wick of St. Peter, Minn., Bruce Wick of Waseca, Minn., and Larry Wick of Elk River, Minn.; two sisters, Nona Wick and Marilyn Wick, both of Prairie Grove, Ark.; seven grandchildren, Travis McKee, Whitney McKee, Lisa Findahl, Adam Findahl, Laura Findahl, Avery Findahl and Jacob Mahon; three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Landon and Payton McKee. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, 2 p.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, with burial in Billingsley Cemetery in Hog Eye, Ark. Pallbearers will be Travis McKee, Adam Findahl, Avery Findahl, Marcus McCash, Jacob Mahon and Daniel Aldridge. Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
