Robert "Bobby" Charles McDougal, 59, of Bentonville died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at his home. He was born Oct. 5, 1954, in Bentonville, the son of Louella Haney and Charles William McDougal. He was a custodian for the Bentonville Public Schools for 26 years and loved his work. He enjoyed playing and spending time with his grandchildren. Bobby has lived in Bentonville his entire life and loved every moment. He loved telling stories of Bentonville and how much the area has changed since he was a child. He has met so many wonderful people during his life and has positively changed the life of so many more. He is loved by many and will continue to be loved for eternity. He was a bright light to his daughters and grandchildren who have and will forever adore, love, and miss him so very much. His smile would light up a room and will never be forgotten. He will be missed dearly. He has been called home and although life must go on for those of us on Earth, it has just begun for him and we will see him again soon at the gates of Heaven. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his brother. Bob is survived by two daughters, Carolina Trevino and her husband, Rogelio, of Centerton, Victoria Calderon and her husband, Jose Gomez, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sisters, Patsy Lovell and her husband, Leonard, of Decatur, Sue McDougal of Bentonville; two brothers, John McDougal and his wife, Doris, of Gravette, Harry McDougal and his wife, Mary, of Noel, Mo.; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday at Park Street Baptist Church in Bentonville from 9 a.m. until the service time. A celebration of his life will follow the visitation at the church at 11 a.m. on Friday.
