Frances Ann Barnett

Frances Ann (Norris) Barnett, 69, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice–Legacy in Bentonville, Ark. She was born on Nov. 13, 1944, in East Baton Rouge, La., to Carle E. Norris and Merle J. Strong Norris. She was raised in Natchez, Miss. She was a devout Christian and of Baptist Faith. She attended Fellowship Baptist Church in Bella Vista. Her favorite pastimes were church and visiting loved ones. She enjoyed taking care of home and husband. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Johnson; and one stepson, Brandon Barnett. She is survived by her husband, Stanford Dale Barnett of Bella Vista; five children, Melvin Johnson of Lake Bruin, La., Julia Britt of Natchez, Miss., Burt Franks of Tri Cities, Wash., Tanyan Lewis of Iowa Park, Texas, Tamatha Daigle of Gravette, Ark.; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and five stepchildren, Ricky Barnett of Port Allen, La., Keith Barnett of Port Allen, La., Mike Barnett of Port Allen, La., Collette Healey of Plaquemine, La., Leslie Barnett of Port Allen, La.; two brothers, Carl Norris Jr. of Natchez, Miss., Tommy Norris of Natchez, Miss.; eight sisters, Reta Day of Natchez, Miss., Clairess Arnold of Hammond, La., Pat Jackson of Vidalia, La., Alita Taylor of Atlanta, Ga., Joyce Reed of Vidalia, La., Jeannie Buckles of Natchez, Miss., Linda Richardson of Vidalia, La. Visitation will be from 6–8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Fellowship Baptist Church of Bella Vista, 502 W. Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark., with Pastor Dan Fagula officiating.
