Albert Odell Shores

Albert Odell Shores, 71, of Alma, Ark. passed on to our eternal home Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 in a local hospital. He was a retired contract driver for the Arkansas Democrat of over 20 years, a farmer and poultry grower and a member of the Freedom Freewill Baptist Church. He was born April 15, 1942 in Alma, Ark. to the late Albert and Mandy (Dutton) Shores. Memorial services will be 10 A.M. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at the Freedom Freewill Baptist Church. Cremation was under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Alicia Shores; one daughter, Sally Arieta and her husband Urbano of Mexico City; three sons, Jose Ramon Shores and wife Gina of Greenwood, Ark., Damon Shores and wife Garyn of Van Buren, Ark., and Rudy Albert Shores and wife Melissa of Fort Smith, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two nieces, Sue Rodman of Alma, Ark., and Linda Johnson and husband Frank of Cox Mills, W.
