Verla M. Hickman

Verla M. Hickman, 82, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at Highland Health & Rehabilitation in Bella Vista. She was born on Nov. 2, 1932, in Mercer County, Mo., to Jesse and Margaret Fox. She retired to Bella Vista in 1994, coming from Kansas City, Mo. She was a member of the Bella Vista Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; four siblings, Jean Benson, Dora Jean Fox, Arthur Fox, Augusta Foster; and nephew, Timothy Benson. She is survived by two daughters, Jeanne Morton of Bella Vista, Ark., Tammy Kempf and husband, Greg; four grandchildren; and nephew, Michael Benson of Kansas. A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014, at the Bella Vista Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.
