Joyce Marilyn (MacDonald) Jones

Joyce Marilyn (MacDonald) Jones, 82, formerly of Elkins, Ark., and Bensenville, Ill., passed away Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville, Ark. She was born Jan. 8, 1932, in Ashland, Ohio, to George and Hazel M. (Miller) MacDonald. Joyce was the beloved wife of the late Melvin J. Jones. Joyce worked as a bookkeeper. She loved music, played the piano and was involved in many church activities. Survivors include one son, Terry Jones of Fayetteville, Ark.; one daughter, Linda (Jones) Rix and husband Greg of Burns, Wyo.; one sister, Carol E. (MacDonald) Pepin and family of Greeley, Colo.; two grandchildren, Karyn Rix (Danny) Williams and Jennifer Rix and one great-grandson, Brandon Williams. No services are planned. Joyce's cremated remains will be interred in the National Cemetery in Fayetteville. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, Ark.
