Donna E. Sherman

Donna E. Sherman, 83, of Rogers passed away Dec. 17, 2014, in Rogers. She was born Oct. 28, 1931, to Sanford and Fern Mater Brown. Donna was a CPA and a former member of the First Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, Ill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Sherman; he passed away March 31, 1980, they were married Feb. 25, 1958. Survived by her children, Brian Sherman and wife, Darlene, of Mount Vernon, Ill., and Eric Sherman and wife, Debbie, of Bentonville; her brother, D. Lee Brown and wife, Jean, of North Street, Mich.; grandchildren, Travis Sherman and wife, Arrow, of Bentonville, Ryan Sherman and wife, Kayla, of Bentonville, Erica Hicks and husband, Steve, of Nashville, Ill., and Leah Sherman of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; two great-grandchildren, Dylan Hicks and Sebastien Rue; brother-in-law, Donald Sherman of Woodlawn, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. Donna's ashes will be laid to rest at Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Ill., next to her husband. Memorial services 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Ill.
