Ronald Gene Napier, age 61, of Fayetteville, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014. He passed away at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. He was born June 17, 1953, in Fullerton, Calif., to Herbert Harmon Napier and Ila Jackson Napier. Ron worked in automobile collision repair and insurance adjusting for 40 years. In the last six years, Ron enjoyed restoring antique automobiles and being a member of the Rolling Relics Car Club. He was also a member of the Mount Comfort Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Harmon Napier and a brother, Lonnie Lee Napier. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Elizabeth (Dorsey) Napier; a daughter Cristin Atha and husband Jonathan of Fayetteville; two sons Shane Napier of Fayetteville and Casey Kimes and wife Tai of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.; five grandchildren, Jace and Carter Atha, Brantley Napier, Xzjuan and Xianne Kimes; mother, Ila (Jackson) Napier of Fayetteville; one brother, John Napier of Wesley; one sister, Barbara Miller of Pell City, Ala., and numerous other nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville, Ark. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville, Ark., with the Rev. Glen Faulkner officiating. Interment will be in the Drakes Creek Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Ark. Pallbearers will be: Terry Garrett, Steve Jackson, Jerry Wayne Jackson, Junior Mabry, Robert Parker, Allen Sloan, Phil Thompson, Lew Thompson and Shane McAlister.
