Don W. Helms

Don W. Helms, age 66, of Fayetteville died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, in Fayetteville. He was born Oct. 1, 1948, in Arkadelphia, Ark., the son of Carl D. and Eudora Calhoun Helms. He was a school teacher for 40 years, taught at Fayetteville Public Schools for 16 years. He was a graduate of Arkadelphia Public Schools, Henderson State University and the University of Missouri. He is survived by a sister, Mary Sue Thomas of Arkadelphia; and a nephew, Steve Thomas of Arkadelphia. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, at Moore's Chapel.
