Bobby Michael Ball

Bobby Michael "Mike" Ball was called to be with his Heavenly Father on Dec. 2, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Ark., after a five-month battle with cancer. He was born on March 22, 1957, in Clarksville, Ark., to the late Bobby Lloyd Ball and Janelle Earlene Douglas-Ball. Mike resided in Rogers, Ark., for 38 years after moving here from his hometown of Clarksville, Ark., in 1976. He was employed by Model Laundry and Dry Cleaners for 32 years before retiring in 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Janelle Ball. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Ball of the home; one son, Nathan Ball and family of Rogers, Ark.; one daughter, Natasha Ball-Canizales and family of Rogers, Ark.; two stepdaughters, Melissa Wogoman and family of Bella Vista, Ark., and Teresa Mahavier of Centerton, Ark.; one brother, David Ball of Fayetteville; and one nephew, Michael Lloyd Ball and family of Greenland, Ark. He has four grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren. Mike was well-known in NWA as "Big Mike." Well known for his many years of hard work, dedication and customer service, serving most of NWA and surrounding areas as a route driver and supervisor for Model Laundry. He was an avid Razorback fan, a great father, husband, brother, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all. His legacy will live on for many years to come to those who knew and loved him. Service will be held on Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. at Rollins Funeral home in Rogers, Ark., with Pastor John Nauman of Charity Baptist Church of Rogers officiating.
