Morene Mabry, 95, of Rogers passed away Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice at Legacy Village in Bentonville. She was born June 11, 1919, in Goshen, Ark., to Noel Calvin and Phebe Smith Jones. Morene attended Center Corner School and attended Zion Baptist Church as a youth. Morene was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Fayetteville. She was a member of the Homemaker Extension Club for over 50 years and active with the RVSP for several years. She enjoyed writing, sewing, gardening, cooking, and entertaining family and friends. Morene was an integral part of the family farm operations. Most of all, Morene was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who loved the Lord. She had a positive influence on numerous children and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ivan Mabry; daughter, Carol Graham; brother, Herbert Jones; sister, Geraldine Jones; and granddaughter, Jessica Graue Leibig. Survivors include one son, Roger Mabry and wife, Jody, of Rogers; one daughter, Alicia Graue and husband, Mike, of Rogers; one brother, Clifford Jones and wife, Sara, of Owasso, Okla.; six grandchildren, Dr. Scott Graham and wife, Priscilla, Cary Graham and wife, Robin, Valerie Shetley and husband, Alan, Eric Graham and wife, Tammy, Dr. Tyler Mabry and wife, Meredith, Josh Graue and wife, Maricar; nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren, Gary, Adam and Kelli Russell. Funeral service will be Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, with Dr. Gene Fulcher officiating. Burial will follow in Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers.
