Suzann Eldred Johnson

Suzann Eldred Johnson, age 66, a lifelong resident of Bentonville, passed from this earth on Aug. 24, 2014, at her home. She was born in Bentonville on July 11, 1948, to the late George W. Eldred Jr. and Mary (Freese) Eldred. Suzann was a 1966 graduate of Bentonville High School and retired from Walmart after 25 years of faithful toil. She was an active supporter of the Bentonville High School and Band Booster clubs, and was also a rabid Razorback sports fan. Survivors include her sons, Jade Neal of Bentonville, Lt. Col. (USAF) Jeremy (Neal) Eldred and wife, Caroline, of Ramstein, Germany; grandchildren, Jordan, Breanna, Tess, William and Gabriel; brothers, David Eldred and wife, Lynn, of Bentonville, George W. Eldred III and wife, Julia, of Anderson, Mo., Jerry Eldred of Bentonville; numerous nieces and nephews; and her constant companion, Buddy, the wonderdog. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her loving son, Reese Johnson. Visitation will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the Callison-Lough Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in Bentonville Cemetery.
