Crystal Maria Hook

Crystal Maria Hook, 59, of Gravette, Ark., died Aug. 27, 2014, in Ozark Community Hospital, Gravette, Ark. Born March 28, 1955, in Pontiac, Mich., she was the daughter of James Joseph and Olive Patricia (Thompson) Ross. Crystal and Joe Hook were married Nov. 27, 1988, in Gravette, Ark. She was a homemaker and worked as a social director. Crystal was a member of the Church on the Hill, Gravette, Ark. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her husband, Joe of the home; five sons, Glen Earl Weeks II of Rogers, Ark., Paul James Weeks of Gravette, Ark., Brian Raymond Weeks of Gravette, Ark., Joshua Allen King of Bella Vista, Ark., and Zachary David King of Russellville, Ark.; three stepchildren, Christopher William Hook of Tennessee, Alyssa Ann Buffer of Eureka Springs, Ark., and Nicholas David Hook of Westville, Okla.; her mother, Olive Patricia Ross of Murray, Ky.; nine grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; three sisters, Karen Denise Kosuth of Detroit, Mich., Sandra Kay Dempsey of Murray, Ky., and Renee Lee Thiede of Union City, Tenn.; and brother, James William Ross of Tacoma, Wash. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, at Church on the Hill, Gravette, Ark., with Pastor Jonas Edgmond officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Hiwasse, Ark.
