Margaret R. Allen

A celebration of the blessed 104 years of Margaret R. Allen's life will be held this Sunday, Aug. 24, at 2:15 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church of Rogers, 307 W. Elm St. Originally from Iowa, Margaret spent many years in Illinois and Wisconsin before calling Rogers her home in 1972. Family from several states will be in attendance this weekend and are hoping to meet the many lovely people of Rogers Margaret always spoke of so highly. Since Margaret was active in the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution from 1973-2008 and was served by the Stephen Ministry in both Rogers and Springdale, donations in her memory to one of those organizations would be greatly appreciated. Donations to the DAR may be made out to Enoch Ashley Chapter NADAR and mailed to Martha Twist, 2815 W. Green Acres Road, Rogers, AR 72758-6133. Donations to the Stephen Ministry may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Rogers with "Stephen Ministry" in the memo and dropped off or mailed to the church at 307 W.
