Darlene Deason

Darlene Deason, age 74, of Rogers passed away Aug. 20, 2014. Darlene was born Sept. 10, 1939, in Minnesota to parents Arthur Koch and Grace Moppins Koch. She was united in marriage to Rex Deason on April 20, 1959, in Springdale, Ark. Darlene and Rex enjoyed over 51 years of marriage. She worked for Tyson and more recently for the Rogers Public Schools. Darlene enjoyed spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren. She was also a member of the Faith Full Gospel Church in Lowell and also attended the Rogers Freewill Baptist Church on Sunday evenings. Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Rex in 2010; her parents; and two brothers, Bill and Harry Koch. She is survived by her sons, Rodney Glenn Deason and wife, Carla, of Gravette, and Randy Lee Deason of Tontitown; three brothers, Curley George Koch of Osage, Ark., Junior Lee Koch and wife, Donna, of Hindsville, Jackie Bill Koch of South Arkansas; 12 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Graveside services are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at the Bentonville City Cemetery. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. The family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Circle of Life Hospice Home. The family would also like to give special thanks to Angela Kyla Joy Martin for caring and helping to make mom's last days as pleasant as possible. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers, Ark.
