Connie Janes Threlkeld

Connie Janes Threlkeld, 46-year-old resident of Fayetteville, Ark., died Aug. 19, 2014, at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born April 23, 1968, in Gravette, Ark., to Chester Janes Sr. and Jan Langley. Connie graduated from Gravette High School in 1980 and received her master's degree from the University of Arkansas. She was an active member of Shiloh Community Church in Fayetteville where she sang in the choir and was a part of the children's ministry. Connie was a homeschool mom to her children. Connie was preceded in death by her father, Chester Janes Sr.; two brothers, Chester Janes Jr. and Chetlee Janes; and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Langley of Pampa, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Michael Threlkeld; five children, Langlee Threlkeld, Samuel Threlkeld, Clay Threlkeld, Adam Threlkeld and John Threlkeld, all of Fayetteville; her mother, Jan Janes of Maysville, Ark.; and her mother-in-law, Barbara Threlkeld of Sheridan, Ark. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at Shiloh Community Church, Fayetteville, with Pastor Joe Jones officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at Maysville Cemetery, Maysville, Ark., with Pastor Joe Jones and Pastor Raymond Scott officiating.
