Betty Jean Bond

Betty Jean Bond, 75, of Springdale passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born May 4, 1939, in Kingston, Ark., to Walter and Wealtha White Johnson. Betty was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Joseph Bond of the home; one son, John Bond and wife, Lynda, of Springdale; one daughter, Debbie Young and husband, Tommy, of Westville, Okla.; one brother, Rex Johnson and wife, Rita, of Springdale; five sisters, Ruth Cornelison of Springdale, Alice Spears and husband, James, of Fort Smith, Ora Faye Chamlee and husband, Fred, of Tontitown, Linda Chamlee of Springdale, and Brenda Dearman and husband, David, of Springdale; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Silent Grove Cemetery, with Pastor Howard Garrett officiating.
