Mary Frances Wright

Mary Frances (Davis) Wright, age 90, died on Aug. 15, 2014, at her home in Bentonville while under the care of Circle of Life Hospice. She was born in Fayetteville on May 31, 1924, to the late E.G. and Bessie Davis. A 1941 graduate of Rogers High School, she worked at Stroud's Department Store for two years before she married. She worked at Tucker Abstract Company for almost 30 years. At one time, her signature appeared on the title insurance policy for almost every lot sold in Bella Vista Village. Frances was a member of the Bentonville Church of Christ for over 60 years. During that time she helped in the areas of education, women's ministry, food ministry, and senior servants. Her life brought glory to God in countless other ways. Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Lewis and husband Dr. John R. Lewis of Knoxville, Tenn., Patsy Wright of Bentonville; grandchildren, Karen Lewis of Memphis, Tenn., Jeffrey Lewis and wife Rachel of Searcy; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Clarence; a son, Mike Wright; and her husband, Glynn Wright. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at Bentonville Church of Christ, officiated by Walton Hook. Burial will follow in Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Scholarship Fund at the Bentonville Church of Christ. Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville.
