Patsy Walker Eitelman, age 70, a resident of Butterfield Trail Village, went to be with her Lord on Aug. 13, 2014. Pasty, a retired missionary, is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ray Eitelman; she is also survived by her daughter, Julie Yngsdal, with her husband, Dave, and their four children, Mariah, Wesley, Corey and Cameron, who live in Empangeni, South Africa, where they serve on the mission field. Patsy also had a daughter, Laura, who preceded her in death at the age of 15 and is buried in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Patsy was a missionary with the Southern Baptist Convention for 35 years in the countries of West Africa that border Ghana. Pasty gave her years and her life willingly for the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ and saw at least 10,000 baptized and 190 churches established. Patsy was born to Mack and Lillian Waldrop Walker (deceased) in Canton, Texas. Her younger brother, Leslie, is deceased leaving his wife, Linda, her child, Christy, with her husband and two daughters. Patsy has many relatives-in-law represented by Ray's brothers and sister, including Lea Eitelman, whose husband Ed is deceased of Saint Paul, Ark., and her children, Edward, Bobby and Bill, with their spouse and children. We cite also, Barry Eitelman of Abilene, Texas, with his wife, Betty, with children and grandchildren. Further we cite, Jean Unger and her husband, John, and their children with family from Houston, Texas. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, at Moore's Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, at University Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Interment will be at Brashears Cemetery, about 31 miles east on Highway 16.
