Inger Obel Coogan

Inger Obel Coogan, 97, of Fayetteville died Aug. 10, 2014, at Butterfield Trail Village. She was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, April 14, 1917, the daughter of Thorvald and Christence Obel Pedersen. She is survived by two daughters and one son, Barbara E. Oldham and husband, Farrell, of Bartlesville, Okla., Deborah E. Coogan and husband, Steven Vinje, of Edmond, Okla., Michael E. Coogan and wife, Jamie, of Little Rock, Ark.; one grandson, James R. Oldham and wife, Alisha, of St. Joseph, Mich.; two great-grandsons, Collin Nicolas and Devon Henry Oldham of St. Joseph, Mich. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Henry C. Coogan in 2004; and her sister, Agnete Vecht in 2012. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014, at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 3730 E. Township St., Fayetteville, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
