James Henry Drain

James Henry Drain, 85, of Fayetteville passed into the Lord's hands Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, in Fayetteville. He was born June 7, 1929, in Johnson, Ark., to John U. and Marche Claire O'Neal Drain. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, five sisters, four sons, four daughters, one stepdaughter and several grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Dorthy of the home; sons, James D. Drain of West Fork and H. Allen Drain of Mulberry; daughter, Virginia Roberts of Fayetteville; four stepdaughters, Shyla Head, Rebecca Annis, Rhonda Bunch of Fayetteville and Penny Greyeagle of Oklahoma City, Okla.; 24 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, at Beard's Chapel, with burial to follow in Woolsey Cemetery, under the direction of Beard's Chapel.
