Margaret Helen Eidson

Margaret Helen Eidson, 91, of Fayetteville passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014, in Berryville. She was born Oct. 17, 1922, in Overcup, Ark., to Andrew and Velma Yocum. She attended Arkansas State Teachers College in Conway, Ark., where later working, she met Egbert "Ed" Eidson. They were married on July 24, 1948. Helen and Ed moved to Fayetteville in 1955 where Dr. Eidson opened a dental office. She managed the business side of the practice to free Ed to care for his patients. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Odell Yocum; and sister, Oleta Londagin. Survivors include her son, Roy Eidson and wife, Evelyn; two granddaughters, Amy Eidson Clark and husband, Steve, of Fayetteville, and Jill Eidson King and husband, Jason, of O'Fallon, Ill.; three great-grandchildren, Maximus and Harrison Clark, and Cardin King; sisters, Ione Boles of Kansas City, Mo., Loretta Parker of Fort Smith, Ival Parker of Springdale and Carolyn Yarbrough of Overcup, Ark. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2014, at Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fayetteville, with Pastor Sara Pair officiating.
