James "Jim" Young

Jim Young, 75, of Fort Smith, passed away Monday April 21, 2014. He was born February 10, 1939 in Adona, Ark. He was an Independent Heavy Equipment Insurance Claims Adjuster. He was a member and Deacon of Haven Heights Baptist, member of the NTHECC and NRA. He was a veteran of the US Army. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Haven Heights Baptist Church with Dr. Steve Young and Dr. Neal Prock officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. He is survived his wife of 58 years, Iona Young, one daughter, Donna Ruth Uher of Van Buren, two sons, James Stephen Young of East Helena, Mont. and John Edward Young of Fort Smith, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
