Bernice Ethel Evans

Bernice Ethel Evans, 87 of Goshen, died April 17, 2014 at Circle of Life Hospice. She was born Jan. 17, 1927, in Raymond, Alberta, Canada, to John R. and Ethel Court Bascom. She was a retired nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Evans; brother, Bill Bascom; and daughter, Brenda Jackson. She is survived by her sons: Gordon Evans of Bentonville, Donald Evans of Goshen, Jerry Evans of League City, Texas, John Evans of Asheville, N.C., and Randy Evans of Rogers; daughter Shelia Merritt of Greer, S.C.; one brother, Wes Bascom of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, and one sister, Hazel Ralph of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. Twenty-one grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
