Virginia Wanita McKain

Virginia Wanita McKain, 90, of Rogers passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014, at her home. She was born to the late Benjamin Anderson and Zeffie Gooch Owensby on Feb. 29, 1924, in Shamrock, Okla. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than 30 years, Chester McKain; a daughter, Vida Gay McKain; a son, Clayton McKain; a grandson, Andy Johnston; three sisters; and three brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Pam (Charlie) Johnston; son, Clifford (Hop) McKain; grandchildren, Chuck Johnston, Teresa Johnston Love, Angie Luedecke and Christy McKain; seven great-grandchildren; and five sisters. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, in the chapel of Rollins Funeral Home, with a graveside funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 17, at Benton County Memorial Park.
