Ralph Hutchens Mullens

Ralph Hutchens Mullens, 93, a resident of Lincoln, passed away April 12, 2014, in Fayetteville. He was born Aug. 22, 1920, in Goree, Texas, the son of Robert and Lizzie Hutchens Mullens. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln, Ark. Ralph served in the United States Army Air Corps. He retired from ATT after many years of service. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Irene Mullens; two sisters; and two brothers. Survivors include his wife, Arlene Mullens; two daughters, Kathy Braly and husband, Glenn, of Lincoln, and Karen Schuler and husband, Philip, of Kibler, Ark.; one brother, Pete Mullens and wife, Bonnie, of Wichita, Kan.; two nieces, Wynelle Hampton of Houston, Texas, and Margaret McLain of Goodletsville, Tenn. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-7 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery and there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Lenhart, Walter Lenhart, Wayne Lenhart, Don Hampton, Gary Rabe and Greg Mullens.
