Charles Michael Ransom

Charles Michael Ransom, 66, of Springdale passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at his home. He was born Aug. 26, 1947, in North Little Rock, Ark., to P.J. and Helen Ghering Ransom. Charles was a Class A PGA golf professional. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, David Ransom. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Ransom of the home; one son, Chase M. Ransom and wife, Jana, of Springdale; four brothers, Richard Ransom, Ron Ransom, Raymond Ransom and Tommy Ransom; four sisters, Barbara Tomboli, Debbie Herring, Linda Ransom and Charlene Frankson. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Shirley, Ark., with Kirk Hardy officiating. Memorials may be made to My Friends Closet, 2045 E.
