Buford E. Logan Jr.

Buford E. Logan Jr., 60, of Fayetteville passed away March 25, 2014, at his home. Buford, Bue as he was known to many, was born April 7, 1953, in Fayetteville to Buford Earl Logan Sr. and Constance Lorene Jackson Logan. He attended Lincoln through sixth grade, Hillcrest Junior High and then Fayetteville High before entering the University of Arkansas where he played on the Razorback JV team. He worked at First National Bank and later joined the Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Peggy. Survivors include two brothers, Duane Logan and wife, Sheila, and Van Logan; sister, Joanita Logan; one nephew, Trevor Logan; five aunts; one uncle; and a host of cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2014, at Beard's Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
