Maxine Wyatt, 86, passed away at Highlands Health Care in Bella Vista on Saturday, March 29, 2014. She was born June 14, 1927, to George and Margaret McCoy in Norton, Kan. She graduated from Norton High School and went to work for Southwest Bell Telephone Company. She married Ray Wyatt in 1947. They moved to Great Bend, Kan., in 1953. She worked at American State Bank for 36 years and retired. She did volunteer work at Central Kansas Medical Center in Great Bend and Eucharistic Minister at St. Patrick Church. They moved to Bella Vista, Ark. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. She did volunteer work at hospitals in Bentonville, Walton Art Center in Fayetteville, Ark., and Eucharist Minister at St. Bernard Catholic Church. She loved to play bridge and golf. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters and infant son. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Wyatt; brothers, Bill McCoy (Betty) of Great Bend, Kan., and Charles McCoy (Lyla) of Nampa Idaho; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2014, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista. Online condolence may be made at www.funeralmation.com.
