Jerry "Don" Graves

Jerry "Don" Graves, 65, of Springdale, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at Windcrest Health and Rehab. He was born Oct. 18, 1947, in Springdale to Edward and Leler Shores Graves. Don served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a cable splicer for several years with AT&T, and then operated his own utility installation company. He enjoyed his grandchildren, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie Lee "Sherrie" (Carter) Graves in 2011. He is survived by two sons, Daine Graves of Fayetteville, Craig Graves and wife Tonia of Tontitown; two brothers, George Graves and Odell Graves, both of Springdale; and four grandchildren, Robbie, Sierra, Benjamin and Nicholas. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Private interment will be at Wilson Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, online guest book at www.heritageofnwa.com.
